A bridge consists of three basic units, a false tooth replacing the lost one and two “anchor” crowns – one on either side to which it is attached.

Ideal for missing teeth

The loss of a tooth can be a traumatic experience and without a proper replacement can lead to severe loss of self-esteem and confidence.

Fortunately with the tools and techniques at our disposal we can fabricate a bridge that will feel comfortable and natural. A bridge has to be supported on either side by healthy teeth. These are shaped to accept crowns to which the false tooth is attached.

A longer spanned bridge may need to have a gold backing to give it the strength necessary to resist the forces of chewing and biting. A short spanned bridge can be fabricated completely in porcelain which is custom shaded and stained by our technicians to exactly match your natural teeth and restore your smile.
